Chart of accounts (one-time setup)

Upload your subgroup/G-L account list (like Exact's grootboekrekeningschema export). Each subgroup becomes a category, each G/L account becomes a line item inside it. Assign a team to each subgroup below — this is saved and reused automatically every time you import real spending data.

Excluded sub-groups

Sub-groups listed here are skipped on every import, so you don't have to remove them each time. Add by exact name (as it appears in your files), e.g. a revenue or balance-sheet group you don't want on the board.

Import budget

Upload your budget separately from actuals — a planning sheet with a G/L account (or category) and a budgeted amount per row. Works with the chart of accounts above, and supports a month column if your budget is split per period.

Import actual spend (Exact export)

Upload your Exact actuals export — one row per G/L account per period, with a ReportingYearPeriod column for the month (e.g. 202601 = January 2026). Map the G/L account, period, amount, and — for the drill-down — the account description and relationship columns. Matched against the chart of accounts automatically. (A budget-style layout with months side-by-side also still works via the toggle.)

Backup & restore

This board saves to your browser's storage for this exact file. If you open a different copy of this file (redownloaded, renamed, or moved), that storage starts empty. Download a backup before switching files, and restore it after — this keeps your chart of accounts, categories, and budgets intact.

Access management

Grant people access by their work email. Admins see everything and can edit. Viewers are read-only: "all teams" sees every team, "team" sees only the teams you tick.
